just as the title stated.
so is this an insult or a compliment?
hit a major bad start today. despite the fact of waking up at 6am (for a non-mornin person like me) for a 8am lesson at bbdc, i had endless naggings from my group instructor. here's some extracts from the torturous 100mins.
"slow down slow down!"; "why never stop for pedestrians?!"; "you in the car, got aircon, just let them (the pedestrians) pass first."; "check your left blind spot!"; "why jammed brake?"; "why never slow down, you wan the major road traffic to give way to you isnt?"; "when you stopped, you cant even see the entire carplate of the car infront, let alone their rear wheels."; "which lane you wana turn into?"; "dun slow down if it's not safe to keep left, see you goin zig-zag". most importantly, "stopline MUST stop.". this is only a percentage of the whole lot, i tell you.
pretty true though. mistakes i admit:-
1) there're several times my turnin was rapid, due to the speed. (L-plates supposed to turn the slow and steady way)
2) i din keep a complete lookout for pedestrians. (there are twice that the instructor jammed on the brakes to stop the car for zebra crossin.")
3) ya. i din come to a complete stop at stopline - twice too. (wat i did was - just slow down, check if traffic's clear, and proceed afterwhich.)
4) oftenly, i would forget to check left blind spot, after check the rightside traffic. (to filter to the left turn.)
lesson supposed to end at 940, but, i had already returned to the school at 920. followed that, a straight 20mins lecture from instructor. he took out the "bbdc drivin practical handbook, and went through each lesson with me. from the start of stage 1.01 right up to stage 2.06. of course, much more naggin.
"if you drive like tat in your TP, you'll bound to fail!"; "it's all in the book, you know the rules, why dun follow?"; "you just drive as expected, get your licence, and drive like what you did early, it's ok. but NOT NOW!".....
however, just as the school bell rang, and when he was about to get off the parked car, - "ok, other den these, your driving is pretty good la."
right. so, i shall listen to whatever i want to listen.
this is taken as a compliment.
*sidetrack.
called baby afterwhich. he laughed and said i drive like him. - with all the above bad habits.
